FOCUS SUMMER PROGRAM REGISTRATION INFORMATION 2008

Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis (with maximums of fifteen to twenty children and limited Counselors-In-Training per week). Parents are encouraged to send in the registration material early to guarantee their child’s participation in the FOCUS SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM.

 

When returning the registration form, be sure to include the medical form with a current physical examination (within 3 years) form and immunizations listed.

 

A 50% deposit of total costs must be submitted at time of registration.  The balance and all paperwork are due by June 1, 2008 without exception so that we are ready for the mandatory state inspection.  Please make checks payable to: FOCUS Alternative Learning Center, Inc.

 

There is a non-refundable registration processing fee of $50 per child, per session, not to exceed $100 per family. The remaining program fees are refundable up until June 1, 2008.  Refunds after this date will be made at the discretion of the director.

 

For families requiring childcare beyond regular program hours, FOCUS staff will provide supervision sessions from 8:00-9:00 AM and 4:00-5:00 PM.  The cost of Extended Care is $50 for the AM or PM session per week, or $100 for both the AM and PM sessions per week.  You may register for the AM, PM or BOTH, but you must register for the entire week.  A snack and juice will be provided during both sessions.

 

Drop-off time is 9:00 AM and pick-up time is 4:00 PM (unless you have signed up for Extended Care sessions). 

 

Everyday it is a good idea to bring a backpack with the essentials (and labeled!):

Bathing Suit	Change of clothes & shoes (Water shoes are a good idea)
Towel	Lunch (refrigerated at FOCUS)   (Plastic bags work better than paper bags)
Sun screen	Water Bottle (labeled)
Insect Repellent	Goggles (Kids love to use them!)

If your child is on medication(s), please send in enough to accommodate him/her for the entire time at camp.

 

The cost of field trips are included in tuition; however, sometimes we may ask that you send in a few extra dollars so your child may buy a treat.  We will send home all pertinent information on where, when, etc. in the daily FOCUS TIMES newsletter.
