Directions to FOCUS

FROM HARTFORD

1. Follow SR-44 West through Hartford, West Hartford and Avon to Canton.  (Approximately 12 miles, depending on your start point.)
2. You will pass "The Shoppes at Farmington Valley", Vincent Funeral Home and Route 177 all on your left.  Ethan Allen Furniture Store will be on your right.
3. At the next light, just past the car dealership (left side), you will see the Canton Town Green to your left.  Hinman's Nursery is on your right.
4. Turn left before the green onto Dowd Ave.  (There is a traffic light but no street sign.)  Dowd angles behind the green.
5. FOCUS is on the right-hand side, approx. 0.3 miles

FROM DUE WEST (TORRINGTON AREA) TAKE 202 EAST

1.        Follow SR-202 EAST from Torrington, CT to Canton, CT.  (Approximately 12 miles, depending on your start point.

2.        When you cross over the Farmington River, immediately turn right onto River Road, SR-179.

3.        At Collinsville, turn left onto Maple Ave. (a gas station will be on your left).

4.        Go for a mile or so, and Maple Ave. will turn into Dowd Ave.

5.        Once on Dowd Ave., you will pass "Canton Village Plaza" on your left.  FOCUS is on the left.

FROM THE NORTH (FROM I-91 SOUTH): 

1. At exit 40, take SR-20 West toward Bradley International Airport/Granby/East Granby.
2. Proceed on Route 20, toward Granby/East Granby (do not go to the airport) until Rt. 10/202
3. Turn Left on Rt. 202 [SR-10] in Granby Center.
4. Go about 10 miles, and turn RIGHT (West) onto US-44 [US-202] . (Turn right at white church on your right.)
5. Proceed on 44 West
6. You will pass MacDonald's on your right, then "The Shoppes at Farmington Valley," Vincent Funeral Home and Route 177 on your left.  Ethan Allen Furniture Store on your right.
7. At the next light, just past the car dealership (left side), you will see the Canton Town Green to your left.  Hinman's Nursery is on your right.
8. Turn SLIGHT LEFT before the green onto DOWD Ave., 0.1 miles.
9. FOCUS is on the right-hand side (approx. .3 miles)

FROM THE SOUTH & SOUTHWEST (FROM I-84 EAST): 

1.        Take Route I-84 East to Exit 39--Farmington.

2.        Follow exit ramp to light.  Go through light and follow for approximately 1 mile.  The road curves sharply to the right.

3.        Take a right onto Route 10 North (Waterville Rd.)  Farmington Country Club--a white building--will be on your right.  This is a full traffic light.

4.        Follow Route 10 North (Waterville Rd.) for approximately 5 miles.

5.        At intersection of Route 10 and Route 44, take a left onto Route 44 West (Main St., Avon)

6.        Follow Route 44 from Avon towards Canton (few miles west of Avon)

7.        You will pass "The Shoppes at Farmington Valley," Vincent Funeral Home and Route 177 on your left.  Ethan Allen Furniture Store will be on your right.

8.        At the next light, just past the car dealership (left side), you will see the Canton Town Green to your left.  Hinman's Nursery will be on your right.
