I have been working at Focus since 2003, and
have loved it ever since. My
first few months of being a staff member, I was a volunteer and enjoyed
learning about how the kids interact with each other, as well as how they
behave themselves. Once I
became a paid staff member, I knew that more would be expected of me, but
I knew I was ready so it all came naturally.
I still enjoy learning about how the kids interact with each other
as well as how they behave themselves, because there are always new and
interesting things to observe. All
the staff members here are great people and are all great role models for
the kids. My past education
includes a high school diploma, as well as a 2-year associates degree in
college from the University of Hartford.
Currently, I have signed up for a Child Development course at
Tunxis Community College, to expand my knowledge of children.
The class starts in January.
